The former Man United keeper David de Gea has been without a club since his contract expired at Old Trafford in the summer.
De Gea was back in Manchester on Tuesday night supporting the Man United Women’s team as they took on PSG in the Champions League.
Since that appearance, bookmakers moved to price Man United as one of the Spaniard’s top five next potential transfer destinations.
At odds of 8/1, bookmakers believe there is around an 11% chance that de Gea will make a sensational return to Old Trafford.

Oddschecker spokesman Leon Blackman said: “The David de Gea next club betting market has sparked into life over the past few days since bookmakers added Man United.
“46% of the bets over the past 24 hours on oddschecker have been on de Gea returning to Old Trafford. If Onana continues to put in questionable performances, could we see a dramatic return for the Spaniard?”
The 32-year-old spent 12 seasons at Old Trafford, racking up 545 appearances including 415 in the Premier League. He is fourth on the all-time list for goalkeepers with the most clean sheets in the Premier League, behind only Petr Cech, David James and Mark Schwarzer.
