After starring in the 4-4 draw between Chelsea and Manchester City, bookmakers have slashed Cole Palmer’s odds to make England’s 23-man Euro 2024 squad.
Having previously been odds of 4/1, the 21-year-old Cole Palmer is now a shortest priced 5/4 to make Gareth Southgate’s final squad for Euro 2024, at an implied chance of 44%.
In fact, bookmakers now believe he has a better chance than West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, Chelsea team mate Raheem Sterling and Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon of playing at Euro 2024.

Cole Palmer Euro 2024 Odds
Leon Blackman from oddschecker said: “Cole Palmer’s transfer from Manchester City to Chelsea is proving a wise one as his chances to make England’s Euro 2024 have increased five-fold, according to the odds.
“Before the season began, Palmer had been set odds of 12/1 to make the squad, a 7.7% chance of it happening. However, his consistently impressive performances for Chelsea over recent weeks have seen him called up to the senior squad for the first time.
“Oddsmakers have responded to this by cutting his odds to 5/4, a 44% implied chance. The 21-year-old is now fancied over the likes of Raheem Sterling, Jarrod Bowen, and Anthony Gordon to make the final 23.”
Joining Palmer in Southgate’s revised squad for the final Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Malta and North Macedonia are Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa (in from 10/1 to 7/2 to make the Euro 2024 squad) and Manchester City’s versatile defender Rico Lewis, who is now as short as 2/1 (best 3/1).
