Leon Blackman from oddschecker said: “A huge change at the top of the betting for the Republic of Ireland manager as we have a new favourite on BetVictor.
“They have slashed Steve Bruce’s odds to replace Michael Kenny from 33/1 to 2/1 over the past 24 hours, giving him an implied 33.3% chance (from 2.9%) of becoming the new Ireland boss.”
Steve Bruce is a well-travelled manager on the English club scene. He has been out of work for over a year since leaving West Brom in October 2022 after managing just eight wins from 32 matches.
Bruce has achieved promotion to the Premier League via the Championship four times in his career, twice with Birmingham City and twice with Hull City.
