Next Leicester Manager Odds: Who is favourite to replace Chelsea-bound Maresca?

Leicester City are on the hunt for a new manager after Enzo Maresca was confirmed as Mauricio Pochettino's replacement at Chelsea.

Leicester will reportedly be paid between £8 and £10 million by Chelsea for the services of Maresca, who secured promotion to the Premier League in his first full season as a manager.

There is a strong Pep Guardiola to managerial developments at the King Power, with Maresca having served as one of his assistants in City's treble winning year, while the favourite to replace him signed for Saudi Arabian team Al-Ittihad as a player having been recommended by Guardiola.

Who is the favourite to be the next Leicester manager?

The bookmakers' favourite to be the next Leicester manager is Carlos Corberan (12/5 William Hill), who led West Brom to the Championship playoffs before losing to eventual winners, Southampton.

He took charge at the Hawthorns in October 2022, winning 10 of his first 13 games to take the Baggies from second bottom to a final position of 9th. They finished 5th in 2023/24 before a 3-1 aggregate defeat against Southampton.

Three recently departed Premier League managers are involved in the chasing pack to take over at Leicester, including Graham Potter - despite most bookmakers making him odds on to replace Roberto De Zerbi at Brighton.

De Zerbi himself holds serious claims to the Man United manager's job (4/1 bet365) should the club's INEOS board part ways with FA Cup winning manager Erik ten Hag.

The others involved in the Foxes shake-up are David Moyes and Steve Cooper, both linked with the soon to be vacant job at Burnley as Vincent Kompany prepares to join Bayern Munich.

Moyes saved the Hammers from relegation twice over two spells before securing three top nine finishes and a first trophy in 43 years - the Europa Conference League.

Cooper, meanwhile, has been out of work since being sacked by Nottingham Forest just a few days before Christmas with the club 17th in the Premier League table after a run of five defeats from six matches.

Elsewhere, current OHL boss Óscar García is splitting opinion with the bookmakers at a shortest 4/1 and longest 9/1 through BetVictor. Liam Rosenior is 10/1 having been overlooked by Norwich who have opted to hire Johannes Hoff Thorup as David Wagner's replacement.
