Next Man Utd Manager Odds: Ruben Amorim & Xavi odds to replace Ten Hag slashed

There are two big market movers in the next Man Utd manager odds this week.

Despite the 2-1 victory over Brentford at the weekend, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag seemingly remains on the brink of the sack. The Dutchman is the second-favourite in the Next Premier League Manager To Leave market, at best price 4/1 with BetVictor.

Ahead of the trip to face former manager Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce side in the Europa League on Thursday, there has been movement in the Next Manchester United Manager market, with Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim cut from 14/1 to 3/1 for the role on Wednesday (5/1 best price).

It was also reported on Tuesday that the Old Trafford hierarchy had made contact with former Barcelona boss Xavi over potentially replacing Ten Hag. The Spaniard could have been backed at 50/1 for the role on Tuesday evening, but is now as short as 8/1 to take over (14/1 best price).

Who is the favourite to be the next Man Utd manager?

At the time of writing, current assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy is the overwhelming favourite to succeed Erik ten Hag at United.

Van Nistelrooy arrived in the summer as part of a backroom revamp with the hopes of supporting Ten Hag this season, and can be backed at best price 7/2 with bet365.
