West Ham have confirmed former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Potter replaces Julen Lopetegui, who was sacked after just six months in the job - leaving the club 14th in the Premier League table.
West Ham had been on the verge of pushing the panic button for some time, with Lopetegui prominent in the sack race odds since the 3-1 defeat against Leicester in early December.

The bookmakers' favourite to be Graham Potter's first signing at West Ham is Chelsea's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who reunited with former Leicester coach Enzo Maresca this summer in joining the Stamford Bridge club for a fee of around £30m.
Dewsbury-Hall, who scored 12 league goals in Leicester’s Championship winning season under Maresca, is given a 48% chance of joining West Ham in the January transfer window at odds of 11/10 on BetVictor.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are as short as 5/2 (28.6% implied chance) to sign Dewsbury-Hall's Chelsea teammate Ben Chilwell (best price 5/1), while they have shortened from 8/1 into 4/1 today to snap up another Blues player in Carney Chukwuemeka.
