Is Ruben Amorim's future as Man United manager on the line if his side lose against Tottenham?
Ruben Amorim's Man United are chasing redemption in the Europa League final tonight against Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham.
His side are narrow favourites with the bookmakers to lift the trophy despite losing to Tottenham in each of their three meetings this season.
Incredibly, the two teams have lost a combined 39 Premier League matches but the winner will secure a Champions League place for 2025/26. Which ever way you see this going, you can get 40/1 odds as a new customer on BetVictor.

Should United lose the final, combined with their lowest top-flight finish for more than half a century, would the INEOS board be tempted to cut their losses on Amorim?
Let's look at the latest next Man United manager odds. It's particularly interesting because one of the frontrunners to succeed Amorim at United is equally prominent in the next Tottenham manager market.

Who is most likely to be the next Man United manager?
The most likely replacement for Ruben Amorim at Man United is Italian Massimiliano Allegri (4/1), out of work since the end of his second spell as Juventus boss 12 months ago.
The 57-year-old has racked up more than 400 matches in charge of the Old Lady, winning 12 trophies including five Serie A titles. He also took the club to two Champions League finals in 2015 and 2017.
His first Serie A title as a manager came in his three and a half year spell with AC Milan, where he also won the Supercoppa Italiana to go with his two at Juventus (five Coppa Italia wins at Juventus too).
Despite his favouritism for the United job, Allegri is reportedly in talks with Napoli should Antonio Conte depart the Naples club at the end of the season.
The two other frontrunners for the United job are Oliver Glasner and Mauricio Pochettino - Crystal Palace's FA Cup winning Glasner is also the favourite for the Tottenham job while US head coach Pochettino is fifth in line to return to North London.
Glasner has only been with Palace for 15 months having replaced Roy Hodgson in February of last year. Last weekend, he led Palace to their first major honour by beating Pep Guardiola's Man City - his 28th win in 59 matches with the Eagles.
Now 50 years old, Glasner had been attracting admirers in the Premier League for some time since winning the Europa League with Frankfurt in 2022, the season before he took the German side to the final of the DFB-Pokal only to lose 2-0 to RB Leipzig.
Ruben Amorim Cup Final Record
Ruben Amorim has won four of his seven cup finals as a manager. He has landed three Taca da Liga trophies – equivalent to Portugal’s League Cup. Two came in charge of Sporting and one as manager of Braga. He also won Portugal’s Supercup with Sporting in 2021.
His bid to win four consecutive Taca da Liga trophies fell short when losing to Porto in the 2023 final. His other two final losses also came against Porto in his only Taca de Portugal and most recent final when his Sporting side were beaten 4-3 (AET) in the 2024/25 Supercup despite leading 3-0.
