Next Tottenham Manager Odds: Who is favourite to replace Frank?

Thomas Frank is under mounting pressure ahead of tonight's Champions League tie with Dortmund.

Tottenham Hotspur head into their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night amid mounting pressure on manager Thomas Frank.

The Dane, who has been in charge for seven months, has endured a turbulent start to life at Spurs, with the team sitting 14th in the Premier League, just 10 points above the relegation zone.

Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to West Ham escalated tensions, with fans booing Frank and chanting for his dismissal.

Despite the pressure, Frank remains expected to take charge against Dortmund.

Tottenham’s hierarchy, including CEO Vinai Venkatesham, have so far expressed commitment to a long-term plan, acknowledging the club is still adjusting to post-Daniel Levy leadership, new staff, and evolving team dynamics.

Reports suggest the board are reviewing potential alternatives after recent defeats, though no final decision has been made.

Names such as Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner have been linked to Spurs, though questions remain over their suitability for the pressures of a top London club.

Who is favourite to be the next Tottenham manager?

Robbie Keane (3/1) – The former Spurs striker is a 3/1 (BetVictor) joint-favourite to replace Thomas Frank. Keane enjoyed two spells at Tottenham between 2002–2008 and 2009–2011 before moving into management. He has managed Maccabi Tel Aviv from 2023 to 2024 and currently oversees Ferencvaros.

Xavi Hernandez (3/1) – The 45-year-old former Barcelona manager is also 3/1 to take the Tottenham job. Despite never playing in England, Xavi has expressed a strong desire to manage in the Premier League. Tottenham reportedly have made contact with him.

Xabi Alonso (3/1) – Alonso, 44, is another 3/1 contender after being sacked by Real Madrid recently following just seven months in charge. The Spaniard has been linked with both Spurs and Liverpool, though he has suggested he expects better opportunities in the near future. His brief but high-profile managerial experience in Spain and his incredicle season at Bayer Leverkusen where he went unbeaten in when winning the league keeps him on Tottenham’s radar.

Mauricio Pochettino (4/1) – Spurs legend Pochettino is 4/1 to return as manager. The Argentine led Tottenham to their first-ever Champions League final during his five-year spell before leaving in 2019. Currently in charge of the USA national team, he has indicated a willingness to return after the World Cup this summer, which would require an interim manager to oversee the remainder of the season if Frank is dismissed.
