Myles Lewis-Skelly Next Club Odds: Arsenal Star Wanted By Man Utd, Chelsea

Myles Lewis-Skelly's Arsenal future hangs in the balance, with Manchester United and Chelsea both alerted to his availability.

Myles Lewis-Skelly's Arsenal future is suddenly under scrutiny, with both Chelsea and Manchester United understood to have been informed of his availability following Bruno Guimarães's £75m arrival from Newcastle. The 19-year-old, who started the Champions League final in Budapest and helped Arsenal to the Premier League title last term, now finds himself facing an increasingly congested midfield picture at the Emirates.

Despite signing a fresh five-year deal last summer, Lewis-Skelly made just five league starts in 2025-26, and with Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Mikel Merino, Martin Ødegaard, Eberechi Eze and now Guimarães all ahead of him in the pecking order, a sale looks increasingly plausible if the right offer lands. Arsenal are said to want around £45m for the England international, a figure both Manchester United and Chelsea could realistically stretch to given their spending already this summer.

Who is favourite to sign Myles Lewis-Skelly?

Manchester United head the betting as slight favourites, priced at 6/5 (William Hill). United have already been busy in the market this summer, bringing in Youri Tielemans for £35m from Aston Villa and Andrey Santos for a fee that could rise to £50m from Chelsea. A £45m deal for Lewis-Skelly would sit comfortably within that spending pattern, and United's long-standing interest in Newcastle's Lewis Hall suggests they're actively hunting for younger, versatile options across midfield and left-back.

Chelsea aren't far behind at 19/10 (BetMGM), with sources suggesting Lewis-Skelly has been on their radar for some time, not just as a reaction to Arsenal's business this summer. Newcastle, ironically, are also in the mix at 3/1 - though new boss Matthias Jaissle already has his hands full trying to keep hold of Lewis Hall after losing Guimarães, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon this summer, so a move for another midfielder feels more speculative. Liverpool round out the shortlist at 5/1.

At 19/10, Chelsea are firmly in the conversation, and the framework makes sense. Xabi Alonso's midfield already features Moisés Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Dário Essugo, Valentín Barco and Jordan Henderson, with Enzo Fernández's long-term future still not fully resolved.

Lewis-Skelly's versatility - equally capable in central midfield or at left-back - could appeal, especially after losing Cucurella to Madrid.

United is prieced at 6/5. Having already spent close to £85m combined on Tielemans and Santos, a further £45m for Lewis-Skelly would fit their summer pattern of targeting proven quality at value prices. With Lewis Hall looking increasingly unlikely to leave Newcastle, United may see Lewis-Skelly as a readily available alternative who offers similar left-sided cover and midfield versatility, and at 19, plenty of resale value too.
