The Englishman has gone from 300/1 to as short as 12/1.
Justin Rose teed off at Carnoustie on Thursday as short as 12/1 with the bookmakers but an underwhelming first two rounds of 72 and 73 left him at +3, and meant he narrowly avoided the cut by one shot.
The calm conditions this morning gave those adrift hope and Justin Rose has taken full advantage. As big as 300/1 this morning, Rose has roared back into contention, and is now as short as 12/1 with one firm after shooting 64, leaving him currently T6 at -4 on the leaderboard.
Yusaka Miyazoto was in the Englishman’s group and also managed an impressive fightback, shooting a 65 himself and leaving him T13 at -3. The Japanese has been cut from 1000/1 to as short 80/1 in a place.
Another on the charge is Chris Wood, who was available at 500/1 but is now as short as 20/1. Wood is currently six under for his round leaving him level on -4 with Rose & co.
Those at the top of the leaderboard will continue to tee-off this afternoon and there will be plenty more twists and turns. Make sure to keep up to date with our Open Championship grids to ensure you always get the best price on whoever you are backing.
