Perhaps the most illustrious competition in golf, The Masters gets underway this Thursday, in an unusual autumnal setting.

But who is the favourite to win the major? What are the tee times? How can I watch it? Who have punters been backing?

Oddschecker has taken a look at The Masters betting.

Masters 2020 Favourite

Keen viewers of the PGA Tour this year will be more than familiar with big-hitting, scientifically-meddling Bryson DeChambeau, the 8/1 market leader.

The US Open winner is the clear favourite to add a second major to his collection, narrowly beating out in-form Dustin Johnson (9/1).

Spaniard Jon Rahm (10/1), Justin Thomas (12/1), Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele (14/1) come next, with Brooks Koepka and his new driver around the 18/1 mark.

The Masters Odds:

  • Bryson Dechambeau - 8/1
  • Dustin Johnson - 9/1
  • Jon Rahm - 10/1
  • Justin Thomas - 12/1
  • Rory Mcllroy - 14/1
  • Xander Schauffele - 14/1

Who is the most-backed?

When looking at who punters have been fancying over the last seven days, it’s Bryson DeChambeau that leads the pack with 7.8% of all bets.

Major winning machine Brooks Koepka is next with 4.72%, then comes Dustin Johnson (4.5%) and Tony Finau (4.43%).

Any British hopes?

Plenty – and not just McIlroy. Englishman Tyrell Hatton is in mercurial form both on the PGA Tour and the European equivalent and is 28/1 in the betting.

Tommy Fleetwood is 50/1, whilst Sheffield’s Matthew Fitzpatrick is 66/1. Paul Casey (70/1) and Lee Westwood (110/1) are longer prices.
