Sir Michael Stoute's horse has been eased into the season with two victories at odds-on and has been set up nicely for a big run at landing Crystal Ocean's first Group 1. The five-year-old didn't finish outside of the top two in his three runs at Ascot last year.
Raising Sand - 15/2 - 17:00 Ascot
Second favourite Raising Sand is preferred in the penultimate race of the day. Connections clearly have a preference in sending the gelding to Ascot handicaps, where he has a more than decent record over the last few years. Nicola Currie is in great form and can land one of her biggest wins on the seven-year-old.
