Constitution Hill won this race by 12 lengths from stablemate Epatante last season before going on to win Kempton’s Christmas Hurdle, the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and Aintree Hurdle.
He's coming into this race 233 days after his last outing at Aintree. He won last year’s Fighting Fifth Hurdle 256 days after winning the 2022 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle by 22 lengths from Jonbon (7/1 for the Champion Chase 2024), so the lay-off is nothing new for Nicky Henderson's star hurdler.

Who is the favourite for the 2024 Cheltenham Gold Cup?
