The Boodles is another race that has a short history having first been run in 2005.
It is a handicap hurdle for the juveniles and is one of the few races that Willie Mullins has never won. Conversely, Gordon Elliott has tasted success four times including winning the race last year with Jazzy Matty.
He was guided in the race by Michael O’Sullivan who shot to fame in a memorable day which also saw him win the Supreme aboard Marine Nationale. Mark Walsh is the only jockey to win the race more than once with amateur jockey Nina Carberry also winning the inaugural running in 2005.

The four-year-old has made the frame in two of his three starts over hurdles and has been granted a handicap debut mark of 122, which could be extremely lenient. He is a winner on the flat, has more to offer, and could make a serious impact.
