Dinoblue has drifted out of favouritism as Limerick Lace takes the the top of the market.
The Mares’ Chase is the most recent addition to the Cheltenham Festival having taken the place of the novice handicap chase in 2021.
Willie Mullins has won two of the three runnings but the race is yet to be won by the favourite. It is run over the intermediate trip of the Ryanair and Plate and is open to mares who are five years and older.

Dinoblue is an improving mare for Willie Mullins, who finished second at this meeting last year in the Grand Annual. Since that defeat, she has won four on the trot, including a Grade 1 race in her penultimate start.
She did little wrong when chasing home stablemate El Fabiolo at the Dublin Racing Festival last time out, and that should have put her spot on for this target.
However, she has been knocked off her long term position as favourite this morning by Gavin Cromwell trained Limerick Lace (more than 20% backed through oddschecker).
She won a Listed race on the bridle last time out at Donaster when she won by 10 lengths. This race is no doubt a step up in class, but she has proven her stamina and will appreciate the soft ground.
She has improved this season and has bundles of class and if she jumps and travels like she did at Doncaster she is in with a big shout.
