An ante-post fancy for oddschecker tipster Steve Ryder, Vanillier beat Coko Beach by 18 lengths in first time blinkers in February before finishing 3rd behind Stumptown at the Cheltenham Festival despite nearly taking the wrong course.
Advising at 16/1 on Tuesday 18th March, Ryder predicted he would be a shorter price by the day (best price 14/1 but shortest 10/1 at the time of writing).
He added: "He has looked revitalised by blinkers on his previous two starts and did brilliantly the finish 3rd in the Cross Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival despite taking the wrong course. He is off the same rating of 147 which he finished 2nd in 2023 and he looks sure to be involved in the finish."
