Eighty-one percent of bets in the last twenty-four hours have been on Donald Trump leaving office this year.
James Comey’s dismissal as FBI Director sent shockwaves through Washington last week, with many of Donald Trump critics suggesting the President was trying to scupper FBI Investigations into his relationship with Russia. The former FBI director remained quiet on the whole saga before finally breaking his silence by releasing notes to the New York Times.
In Comey’s memo, it clearly states that Donald Trump asked the former FBI director to shut down the federal investigation into the President’s former national security adviser, Micheal T Flynn. In a meeting between Mr Comey and the President in February, Donald Trump supposedly said “I hope you can let this go,” to the FBI Director.
