Rishi Sunak is the bookmakers' favourite to replace Liz Truss in the next Tory leader odds.
Having received her first vote of no confidence in the Commons from William Wragg, bookmakers are predicting that Prime Minister (PM) Liz Truss will be removed from post this calendar year.
Wragg, a senior Tory MP, publicly announced he has submitted a letter of no confidence in Truss' leadership as he criticised the Government over its mini-Budget.
Truss is now a best price 7/11 through oddschecker to leave in 2022, having been as long as 40/1 before the ‘mini-budget’ was announced on 22nd September.

Who are the favourites to replace Truss as next Tory leader?
Should she be ousted as PM, Rishi Sunak is the favourite (2/1 best price) to replace her as the next Tory party leader. Newly-installed Chancellor Jeremy Hunt comes next at 5/1 and Penny Mordaunt is 6/1, while former PM Boris Johnson is 12/1.

Meanwhile, the bookmakers have shortened Labour in the ‘Most seats won at next general election market’ to 7/18 (1/3 worst) from a price of near evens in mid-September.
Moreover, a Labour Majority is odds-on (4/5) with bookmakers in the ‘Government after the Next General Election’ market.
