For the first time this campaign, Donald Trump is now the favourite with one UK bookmaker in the latest 2024 presidential election odds as his price dropped as low as 15/8.
Since the start of 2023, the incumbent president Joe Biden had a stronghold to win with UK oddsmakers, retaining favouritism across the 20+ companies hosting the market.
However, earlier this morning, Betfred became the first to go with Donald Trump as the favourite to win in 2024 as they lowered his odds to 15/8 (in from 2/1).
This marginal but significant price shift for Trump was replicated across the board. While some still have Biden as a marginal favourite, Betfred favour Trump and three bookmakers can’t split the two.
