Next Tory Leader Odds: Robert Jenrick overtakes Kemi Badenoch as favourite

There is a new favourite to become the next Tory Party leader with the majority of the bookmakers on the oddschecker grid.

Conservative MP for Newark, Robert Jenrick, has been made the new favourite with most of the bookmakers to become the Next Conservative Leader

Jenrick’s next tory leader odds have been cut from 5/2 to a shortest 6/4 over the past 24 hours, giving him an implied 40% chance. He remains a best price 7/2 on LiveScoreBet.

Over the past 24 hours on oddschecker, Jenrick has been the most popular bet, picking up 34% of all bets placed, up from 14% of the bet share in the seven days prior. 

Badenoch, who has been the betting favourite since the General Election concluded, has seen her odds slip from 6/4 to a biggest 2/1 on Betfred (shortest 6/4 elsewhere). 

She has been the most popular bet since the General Election concluded with 27% of the total share; however, that figure has dropped to 23% over the past 24 hours.
