UK politics bettors continue to back Rachel Reeves to exit her post as Chancellor of the Exchequer in 2025.

Following the announcement of the 2026 budget announcement, political bettors have been rushing to back a 2025 exit date for Rachel Reeves as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Since last Wednesday's announcement, 65% of all bets placed on the Rachel Reeves Exit Date market have backed her to leave in 2025. 

The latest odds have Reeves predicted for a 2026 exit at odds of 8/13, translating to an implied probabiltiy of 62%, and the odds for a 2025 exit are set at 21/10 (32% implied probability).

Rachel Reeves' exit as Chancellor of the Exchequer is predicted to be in 2026 by UK bookmakers, at latest odds of 4/7.

Who could replace Rachel Reeves as Chancellor?

At the time of publishing, Pat McFadden is the bookmakers' favourite to be the Next Chancellor of the Exchequer at odds of 5/4. 

McFadden has taken 48% of all bets placed through Oddschecker on this betting market since Wednesday's budget announcement.
