Christopher Nolan’s newest masterpiece, Oppenheimer, is now the clear favourite to win the Best Picture award at the 2024 Oscars, according to oddschecker.
The film, which depicts the life of Robert Oppenheimer and his role in developing the first nuclear weapons, is currently the 2/1 favourite with most UK favourites.
Martin Scorcese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon, due for release in October, had been the long-term favourite since the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony in March.
Director Christopher Nolan has received two previous nominations for the Oscars Best Picture award without picking up the prize: Inception (2011) and Dunkirk (2018).
