A well rounded team performance should give the tourists confidence going into the second T20 in Nagpur. After wins in both the Tests and ODIs you can’t help but feel India are taking their foot off the gas, whilst England are out to prove a point. Morgan’s side to win was a winning bet for us last time out and at evens again, I am backing them to win this one too.

England - 3pts

Bangalore tends to be a traditional sub continental deck in comparison to Nagpur, so I’d expect to see spin play a bigger role in this game. Rashid and Ali are 4/1 and 9/2 respectively and both have an excellent chance of topping the bowling for the tourists.

Rashid - 1pt @ 4/1
Ali - 0.5pts @ 9/2

Couple the deck and England’s openers dealing with India’s seamers with content at the top of the innings, expect India to change their approach to the first 6 overs. The former tends struggle with spin early and if England lose wickets up front, they’ll need to rely on their middle order to get the runs. The skipper has been in great form as of late and usually cashes in. Eoin Morgan to top the England batting is my fourth pick.

Looking towards India and their superstar Virat Kohli, who was the only Indian batsmen who looked entirely convincing in the first game. Opening in T20’s suits him, giving him the full twenty overs to bat and an opportunity to score big. He is my pick to the top the batting for India, which also leads to a smaller priced bet on India to have the highest first 6 overs.
