We've got three advised bets across the IPL Final on Tuesday between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
IPL Final
After 2 and half months and 73 matches we find ourselves in Ahmedabad for the IPL 2025 Final between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
While Punjab finished top of the regular season group stage, it was RCB that first booked their spot in the final by hammering PK in Qualifier 1 last week.
Punjab will be out for revenge in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening and we will have a look at the betting angles for this game.
IPL Final Betting Tips
The first bet for this game wont come as a surprise, as it is to side with Virat Kohli to perform well in a final.
Kohli is 5th on the Orange Cap Leaderboard in IPL 2025 and has been the key batting anchor for them consistently across the length of the tournament.
As the tournament has gone on, the run lines that bookmakers have for Kohli have increased gradually and are now at 35.5.
I think this line is correct for Kohli but has presented us with an opportunity in one of his side markets, "Total Virat Kohli 4s".
In the tournament, Kohli has hit 63 4's in 14 games which is an average of 4.5 a game and we are able to go over 3.5 here at 5/6 which I believe gives us some value.
I also expect Kohli to play it relatively safe in the PP and keep the ball along the floor against the dangerous Punjab opening bowlers.
Hopefully he can get off to a flyer, while not risking hitting the ball in the air.
Over 3.5 Kohli 4s is available at 17/20 with Livescorebet or 5/6 with bet365.
Advised bet: Virat Kohli Total 4s - Over 3.5 @ 17/20 (livescorebet)
Next we will look to get with Punjab Kings strong 6 hitting ability in 2 separate markets.
The two markets are very strongly linked so you may want to split stakes between the 2 of them, but the 1st one is Punjab Kings most 6s at 10/11 or better.
Punjab have hit 159 6s in 16 games this season (av 9.9) , while RCB have only hit 116 in 14 completed matches (av 8.1).
Punjab have strong 6 hitters all the way down their line up and have shared the 6 hitting around this comp whereas RCB are much more reliant on a few players.
There is a strong chance that RCB's Tim David won't be fit in time for the final, which would be another blow for RCBs 6 hitting chances.
On a similar theme, the other market would be to back Punjab to cover their 9.5 Total 6s line, by hitting 10 or more in the match.
Punjab have played 2 games at Ahmedabad this season hitting 16 and 13 6s respectively, so I fully expect their line up to hit at least 10 on Tuesday night.
Advised bet: Team to Score the Most 6s - Punjab Kings @ 10/11 or better (Generally available)
Advised bet: Punjab Kings Total 6s - Over 9.5 @ 10/11 (William Hill)
