Premier League Darts Week 2 Accumulator Tip
Leg 1: Over 9.5 Legs - Littler vs Humphries
The Belgian crowd will be treated to a blockbuster curtain-raiser when Luke Littler and Luke Humphries collide in Thursday night’s opening quarter-final tie. Littler, as you’d expect, is the odds-on favourite at a best price of 8/15 on SpreadEx. However, last week’s first round exit served as a reminder that Littler isn’t bulletproof, while Humphries also fell short when exiting at the semi-final stage. They’ll each be desperate to get a nightly win under their belts sooner rather than later, but something has to give here.
Given how evenly-matched these two tend to be, over 9.5 legs looks an attractive proposition at 21/20 with VirginBet. The pair crossed paths no fewer than eight times during the regular season of last year’s Premier League, with five of those meetings producing 10 legs or more, and all the signs point towards a repeat in Antwerp.
Michael van Gerwen vs Josh Rock - van Gerwen + 2.5 Handicap
Michael van Gerwen sent a timely reminder to the rest of the field that he remains a force to be reckoned with by winning the opening night of the 2026 Premier League in Newcastle last Thursday. The Dutchman has looked far more like his old self since the turn of the year and appears well placed to add another two points at the expense of Josh Rock.
The Northern Irishman endured a baptism of fire on his Premier League debut last week when being put to the sword 6-2 by Jonny Clayton. A quarter-final clash with van Gerwen this week will be an even tougher test for Rocky. With MVG showing signs of a resurgence, he’s worth backing with a +2.5 handicap start.
Vickers
Jonny Clayton vs Stephen Bunting - Clayton + 2.5
Jonny Clayton made an impressive return to the Premier League after a three year absence by cruising to a 6-2 win over Josh Rock last Thursday. The Ferret was in imperious form, averaging 109.81 and hitting six 180s along the way. While he couldn’t follow up that performance against Gian van Veen when going down 6-4 at the semi-final stage, Clayton can still take plenty of confidence from his quarter-final showing ahead of this week’s clash with Stephen Bunting.
Bunting had little to cheer about in the Premier League last year and he got off to a bruising start with a 6-2 defeat to Michael van Gerwen last Thursday. With the form book favoring Clayton, keep the Welshman onside with a +2.5 start against Bunting in Belgium.
Gerwyn Price v Gian van Veen - Price + 2.5 Handicap
Gerwyn Price’s clash with Gian van Veen has all the makings of a heavy-hitting contest that could well go the distance. The Iceman will consider himself unlucky after pushing Luke Humphries all the way in a 6-5 defeat last Thursday, while van Veen delivered a strong showing on his Premier League debut, ending the night as runner-up to Michael van Gerwen.
Price is the outsider here at best odds of 11/10 with William Hill, but this clash could well require all 11 legs, making the Welshman a sensible option with a +2.5 head start on the handicap. Dutchman van Veen picked up two wins last week, but neither victory came by a wide margin, and he’s unlikely to sweep aside Price, who really impressed on the Pro Tour this week.

Premier League Darts Night 2 Outright Tips
Gerwyn Price To Win Week 2 @ 13/2
With either Luke Littler or Luke Humphries guaranteed to crash out at the quarter-final stage on Thursday night, the draw opens up for the rest of the field. Gerwyn Price is on the opposite side of the bracket from Littler and Humphries and offers excellent value at 7/1 with BetVictor to go all the way in Belgium. If Price can get past van Veen, he would likely start his semi-final tie as the favorite against Jonny Clayton or Stephen Bunting. From there, he’d be a match for anyone in the final.
Further encouragement for backing Price comes from his performance at the second Players Championship of the season earlier this week, where he finished as runner-up. The Iceman put up some stunning numbers, averaging 117.12 in a 6-0 win over Michael van Gerwen, 111.14 in a 6-4 victory over Luke Woodhouse and 107.41 in the final against Wessel Nijman. If Price can reproduce that level of form on Thursday night, he will be a serious threat in Antwerp.
Michael van Gerwen To Win Night 2 - @ 10/1
After failing to win a single night during last season's Premier League, it would be typical of Michael van Gerwen to follow up last week's success with back-to-back victories in Belgium on Thursday night. MVG appears to have rediscovered his mojo and is expected to add another couple of points to his tally by taking care of Josh Rock. A semi-final tie with either Luke Littler or Luke Humphries thereafter wouldn’t faze the Dutchman, as he proved last week when he sent the latter packing in the final four.
If van Gerwen can navigate his way to another final, the odds imply that he would face either Gian van Veen or Gerwyn Price in Thursday night’s main event - the former of whom he defeated in last week’s final in Newcastle.
With all that in mind, van Gerwen looks well worth backing at best odds of 10/1 on SpreadEx to bank the five point bounty in Belgium.
