Premier League Darts Night 14 Accumulator @ 7/2 (Bet365)

Leg 1: Gerwyn Price v Jonny Clayton - Over 8.5 Legs @ 4/11 (Bet365)

The opening match of the night is an all-Welsh affair, as Gerwyn Price takes on Jonny Clayton. Price sits 4th in the table and still has work to do to secure a playoff place, having won just one of his last five Premier League matches.

As for Clayton, he is sitting comfortably in 2nd position and has already qualified for finals night, despite falling at the first hurdle last Thursday.

Clayton and Price have already crossed paths twice in this year’s Premier League, with one win apiece.

Both of those encounters stretched to at least nine legs, and another closely fought contest looks firmly on the cards here.

Leg 2: Luke Littler v Michael van Gerwen - Luke Littler Win @ 4/9 (Bet365)

Luke Littler looks to be asserting his dominance in this season’s Premier League, having secured another nightly win in Aberdeen last week. The teenage star has made no secret of his desire to finish top of the pile, and with just a two-point lead over Jonny Clayton, he will be keen to extend that advantage by picking up another weekly prize in Leeds.

That does not bode well for Michael van Gerwen, who suffered a 6-3 defeat to Luke Humphries in his opening match last Thursday. To make matters worse, the Dutchman has lost each of his last three meetings with Littler in this year’s Premier League, and all the signs point towards more of the same here.

Leg 3: Josh Rock v Luke Humphries - Luke Humphries Win @ 1/2 (Bet365)

Luke Humphries breathed some much-needed life into his playoff push last week by finishing the night as runner-up. The defending Premier League champion starts the week in 5th position, just two points behind Michael van Gerwen, and a meeting with bottom-placed Josh Rock offers a good chance to close that gap.

After a slow start, Rock showed occasional flashes of form, but in recent weeks his performances have tailed off again, suffering 6-3 defeats to both Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler. The Northern Irishman could well find himself on the wrong end of a similar scoreline again on Thursday night, particularly with Humphries likely to have the backing of the home crowd.

Leg 4: Gian van Veen v Stephen Bunting - Gian van Veen Win @ 8/13 (Bet365)

The final quarter-final tie of the night sees Gian van Veen take on Stephen Bunting. The Dutchman kept his playoff hopes alive with an impressive 6-2 win over Jonny Clayton last Thursday, and if he can replicate that level of performance, he could prove too strong for Bunting here.

The Bullet is sitting second from bottom and he has endured another underwhelming Premier League campaign, winning just six of his 18 matches so far.

With van Veen still firmly in the top-four mix, he has added incentive here. The Giant has already beaten Bunting this season and will take confidence from last week’s strong quarter-final showing.

Premier League Darts Night 14 Weekly Winners

Luke Littler To Win Night 14 @ 8/5 (SpreadEx)

It may be the most obvious option, but it is hard to look past Luke Littler landing another weekly success in Leeds on Thursday at best odds of 8/5 with SpreadEx. The Nuke has already triumphed in a tournament-high five of the 13 nights in this season’s Premier League, including each of the last two.

With Littler drawn on the same side of this week’s draw as nearest challenger Jonny Clayton, he will know another success in Leeds could go a long way towards securing top spot in the table.

The teenage sensation also boasts a strong record against opening opponent Michael van Gerwen, and he has more than held his own against potential semi-final opponents Gerwyn Price and the aforementioned Clayton. Should Littler navigate his way through to another final, he will meet a player who does not begin the week inside the top four, further strengthening the case for the league leader to hoover up another five-point haul in Leeds on Thursday night.

Luke Humphries To Win Night 14 @ 4/1 (PaddyPower)

Luke Humphries came agonisingly close to securing a first nightly win in Aberdeen last week, but he could go one better in Leeds this time around at best odds of 4/1 with PaddyPower.

‘Cool Hand’ is running out of room for error as the race for the top four heats up, and with that in mind, a strong showing on home soil could prove crucial to his playoff hopes.

Humphries will feel he has a favourable route into the semi-finals, starting with Josh Rock, and he would then be expected to get the better of either Gian van Veen or Stephen Bunting.

A potential final against Luke Littler would clearly represent a tougher assignment. However, Humphries took Littler to a last-leg decider last week, and the backing of the Leeds crowd could prove a telling factor if the pair meet again.
