Sheffield Utd v Plymouth - 15:00

Both teams to score looks like a solid bet in Sheffield United vs Plymouth.

After scraping past another League One side, Bristol Rovers, 3-2 in the previous round, the Blades take on a Plymouth outfit who have lost just one in seven, including a good win against Huddersfield in this competition.

Keeping clean sheets is a habit, and United haven’t got into that habit, with just one shut-out to their name all season, which is why I’m happy to back BTTS here, as the in-form Pilgrims will fancy their chances.

Cheltenham v Man City

I also think Man City to beat Cheltenham with a -2 handicap is overpriced.

City rarely show mercy to lower-league sides in this competition, and you can be sure that Pep Guardiola will play a strong side at the Jonny-Rocks stadium.

As far as League Two outfits go, Cheltenham are as solid as they come, but City should still be winning by at least three goals with whatever side they select.

Man City breezed past Birmingham 3-0 in the previous round, and last season beat Port Vale, Fulham and Preston all by at least three goals, so I’m backing a similar outcome at what looks a great price.
