Euro 2021 Prediction: Italy vs Spain
- Italy have won 14 of their last 15 Euro matches.
- Spain are also undefeated at this tournament.
Euro 2020 Prediction: Italy +0 asian handicap
It promises to be a cracking game at Wembley on Tuesday night as two giants of the continental game meet under the arch.
Italy have been the more convincing of the two this summer, they’ve shown more energy, a better balance and more defensive reliability than Spain despite both reaching the final four.
We have to remember that La Roja have gone through two 120 minutes in the knockout stages whereas Italy have only had to deal with one, against Austria. It could give them a slight edge on the fitness front and with the sheer intensity of the press from the Azzurri, Spain will have to be on their A game to play out of it.
Defensively Italy have seldom been tested but Spain have admittedly created plenty of chances. But look at the opponents both have faced, Italy had a much more competitive group than Spain and Luis Enrique’s men have played Switzerland and Croatia in the knockouts, toiling through those games.

Italy are slight favourites here and I can see why, I’d be happy to take them with a +0 start on the asian handicap here at a fair price. The draw is always a runner in these kind of games with the high stakes that comes along with a semi-final and should it end all square our stakes will be returned.
Euro 2020 Prediction: Half time draw/full time Italy
More adventurous punters might like the look of Draw/Italy in the Half time/Full time market at bigger than 5/1. We’ve mentioned the possible fatigue factor of Spain and that could tell in the 2nd half, Switzerland came on strong in the final 45 and it could be the same for Italy here.
