Betting Tip: Liverpool to Win and Both Teams to Score
It was a relatively underwhelming season for Liverpool but they still ended in the top 4. To be fair to Jurgen Klopp, he had to deal with a fair few defensive injuries and despite getting Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk back fit they’re now without Andy Robertson who picked up a knock in pre-season.
You’d expect the Reds to go back to their most fluent best in forward areas, their array of forwards are some of the few who have had a relatively quiet summer. They should be refreshed up front and that’s a worry for opposition, especially with a rejuvenated Trent Alexander-Arnold out wide with the supply.
Norwich are back in the premier league (again). The yo-yo club look better set for a survival campaign but Daniel Farke has to have learnt from his mistakes a couple of years ago. The Canaries were often too open, and despite showing adventure when attacking, lacked shape and know-how at the back.
They have lost Emi Buendia who was probably the player of the year in the second tier last season but Milot Rashica adds a threat from wide cutting in. Teemu Pukki started his last top flight campaign on fire and his goals will be crucial if the Norfolk side are to finish above the dotted line come May.
I’m expecting this to be a fun game with goals at both ends but ultimately I can see the visitors out scoring their hosts. Therefore the 17/10 on Liverpool to win and both teams to score looks a nice way in.

Betting Tip: Diogo Jota to Score Anytime
I’ll also have a poke at Liverpool frontman Diogo Jota to get on the scoresheet at 37/25. The Portuguese international has shown some really impressive flashes this season and I expect him to nail down a starting place in this team. He’s odds-on elsewhere.
