Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Stats

  • Nottingham Forest have lost just 3 of their last 18 league games.
  • Arsenal have lost 3 of their last 5 away games.

Betting Tip: Nottingham Forest +1 Asian Handicap

Mikel Arteta now knows his sides league cup semi-final clash with Liverpool is now this week coming up and he may look to keep his best XI fit and available with that clash taking priority given Liverpool are without a fair few key players.

Arteta is without the suspended Gabriel whilst Mohamed Elneny, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Thomas Partey and Nicolas Pepe are all at AFCON leaving the Gunners a fair bit light for this one.

Steve Cooper has done a great job since coming in Forest and although they’ve lost their last two they’ve been tough to beat under his stewardship.

Cooper has already jumped into the transfer market and brought in Keinan Davis from Aston Villa and Steve Cook from Bournemouth to add depth and quality to the squad.

Perhaps their focus was on this game in the past week or two and they’ll fancy their chances of at least making this one a tight affair.

Arsenal are looking a touch too short around 4/6 best price considering we’re not sure how strong Arteta goes. We can therefore get the hosts onside with a +1 start on the asian handicap.

This would see us profit if Forest avoid defeat but if the home side lose by 1 goal then we will get our stake back. The only way we’d lose is if Arsenal one by 2 or more goals.

Nottingham Forest +1 Asian Handicap  - 2pts @ 8/11
