QPR vs Swansea Betting Tips

Betting Tip: Both Teams to Score

QPR manager Mark Warburton has done a seriously impressive job since coming to Loftus Road back in 2019. The former Brentford and Nottingham Forest gaffer never gets too high when his teams are in form but can keep spirits high when the going gets tough and that’s seen the hoops lose back-to-back just once since September in the League.

They’re a side in decent form at the moment  too having won four on the bounce and Warburton has only Sam McCallum out injured however goalkeeper Semy Dieng and diminutive midfielder Ilias Chair both of whom are on AFCON duty.

Swansea picked up a much needed win last time out against in form Preston at the weekend and it’s fair to say this season may be one of rebuilding and manager Russell Martin putting down his ideas and style of play on the side.

The Swans have lost 4 of their last 6 in all competitions but have scored in 7 of their last 8 games so should fancy their chances of netting against a QPR side who usually give away a goal or two.

The hosts look a fair price to win here but I’d rather take the 4/5 on both teams to score given Swansea have a few more attacking options with Hannes Wolf coming in from Monchengladbach whilst Michael Obafemi and the recalled Kyle Joseph are options off the bench to support top scorer Joel Piroe.

Both Teams to Score - 1.5pts @ 4/5

Betting Tip: Korey Smith to be carded

One player who looks just a touch too big in the card market is combative midfielder Korey Smith. Smith was always good for a card when at Bristol City and he’s been carded in 3 of his last 6 games. He’s a chunky 5/1 shot here and with the card happy Geoff Eltringham in charge he could be one to go into the book should he start.
