Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur Tips
Betting Tip: Liverpool win & Under 4.5 Goals
I went with this exact pick in the Villarreal match but few expected Liverpool to go missing in the first half. However, they return to Premier League action this weekend as they welcome Champions League chasing Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield.
Of the four wins they’ve achieved at home against sides in the top half, all of them have seen fewer than five goals. I’m expecting both defences to be tested but both have been rock solid lately with Liverpool keeping clean sheets in eight of their last nine matches on home soil and Antonio Conte’s men seeing shutouts in all of their last three away league games.
However, the visitors have an absolutely torrid record against Liverpool at Anfield. I also feel that considering neither of these two sides can afford to slip up that it could be a tentative affair early doors. But ultimately, Liverpool have far too much quality, cunning and ruthlessness not to win this one in the end.
I’ll once again take Liverpool to win with fewer than five goals being scored for a point.

Betting Tip: Under 9.5 Tottenham Hotspur Shots
I was surprised to see the visitors' shots line set at 9.5 as I think that’s a little bit high. Only two of the top seven have travelled to Anfield and registered 10 or more shots on goal - those being Manchester City and West Ham United.
Spurs have managed 10 shots in just two of their away matches against the top six and those two games were away to a Manchester United outfit in disarray and an Arsenal side who still ended up winning the match. Spurs managed just six shots in their 3-2 win away to Manchester City back in February and I think they’ll be lucky to match even that against a Liverpool outfit who are riding a tidal wave of momentum.
This line is simply too high for me and regardless of the visitors' recent form, I think it’ll be a tough night for them in Merseyside.
I’ll be taking this one for another point.
