Dinamo Zagreb vs Chelsea

You'd obviously make Chelsea favourites for this trip to Croatia, but I don't think they can count their chickens just yet. It's a bloody tough place to go is the Stadion Maksimir, as Bodo/Glimt and Ludogorets will testify who were both seen off here by the Croatian champions.

They're a very solid side here on home soil and play some attacking stuff, and yes, Chelsea may well have a wealth of quality about them that should see them find the net in this, but they've hardly been convincing at the back.

They picked up a 2-1 win at the weekend against West Ham which arguably should have been 2-2 and prior to that they've conceded twice against Southampton, once against Leicester, three times against Leeds and twice against Spurs. It's hardly the most encouraging signs for Tuchel's once so-tight Chelsea side, and I think Dinamo are good enough to capitalise on one of the chances they will inevitably get in this.

Salzburg vs AC Milan

The Austrian Champions will know all too well the value of their home ties in a group containing AC Milan, Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb. You’d arguably see them as the 3rd best team in Group E, and if they can nick a result against Milan or Chelsea on home soil, the rest should fall into place from there.

They kick off here against AC Milan after what has been a near-perfect start to life in the Austrian Bundesliga so far this year, picking up 18pts from a possible 21 and netting 18 goals in the process.

They’re a young, attacking side who, as we saw last season in a group containing Sevilla, Lille and Wolfsburg, are prolific goalscorers, finding the net in all three home group stage games, and in both legs against German champions Bayern in the knockout stage.

They can cause big sides problems, and they will have to do that here to stand a chance, but against the might of AC Milan who have been free-scoring themselves this campaign and come into this on the back of an impressive win in the Milan derby, I really can’t see the Austrian side keeping a clean sheet

PSG vs Juventus

Back-to-back 0-3 wins away from home in Ligue 1 have moved PSG back to the top of the league but their defence has hardly convinced me this season. They’d be expected to dominate against the likes of Nantes and Toulouse, but against better sides in Monaco, Lille and Montpellier they have been conceding a few goals. They face a decent side here in Juventus, who although relatively tight at times won’t be able to come to the Parc des Princes and just defend.

It will be very difficult to keep MNM at bay in this, especially given the form they are in so I think Juve have to come here and go for goal. They’ve bagged the likes of Dusan Vlahovc since their last escapade in Europe which saw them eliminated at the hands of Villarreal, and look a far more talented outfit going forwards these days, something which should see them get on the scoresheet here.
