The attacking prominence of the 23-year-old has continued into the Europa League; three goals and one assist in two games, averaging 4.5 shots per match, so the drive to find the net is certainly there.

The reverse fixture between these two should throw up another goal fest after last week’s eventful tie that ended 2-1 with Betis the prevailing outfit. A very even and attacking affair saw both sides have a huge number of scoring chances – 25 total shots in the match.

Real Betis’ last home fixture saw them concede twice to Ludogorets but Roma, arguably, are a stronger attacking force; they’ve peppered their opponents’ goal on all three Europa appearances, averaging 20 shots per game. In what could be another fiery and open affair, both teams could score at least once.

The Europa League is a competition that Eddie is targeting to showcase his full ability and prove he’s good enough to lead the line for the Gunners.
