Jules Kounde to Receive a Card

Morocco's Sofiane Boufal, a winger formerly of Southampton but now with Ligue 1 side Angers, has drawn 11 fouls in the 2022 World Cup across five matches. 

Interestingly, the 29-year-old has also committed eight fouls (no bookings so far), which suggests he likes to engage in a battle with his opposite number.

That is most likely to be Les Bleus’ Jules Kounde. The new Barcelona recruit has played 271 minutes at the tournament, and is one of just five France players to receive a card so far.

Key to the French chances of reaching Sunday’s final will be how Kounde handles Boufal, who has made more key passes (nine) leading to shots for Morocco than any of his teammates. We also like the price difference for Kounde to see a card – he is best price 8/1 but 11/4 with one bookmaker.
