Both Teams to Score Tips: Saturday's 10/1 FA Cup Third Round Acca

Middlesbrough vs Brighton

Middlesbrough are experiencing a renaissance under former Tottenham and Manchester United player Michael Carrick.

Since his appointment at the Riverside Stadium he has picked up seven Championship wins from 10 matches and has been able to get the best out of former Arsenal graduate Chuba Akpom.

The 27-year-old has scored 13 goals in just 19 games. Carrick has brought an attacking ideology to his team and this has seen both teams to score in their last four.

They face Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton in the third round of the FA Cup. The former Shakhtar Donetsk manager has a similar attacking philosophy to Carrick, which has seen both teams score in nine of the last 10 Seagulls games.

With both teams wanting to impose themselves on this game we believe you’ll see a thriller at the Riverside on Saturday.

Hull vs Fulham

Liam Rosenior has guided Hull to mid-table since his appointment but faces a tough task in the form of Premier League opponents Fulham on Saturday.

Both teams have scored in three of their last four games for Hull, who boast the third top goalscorer in the Championship in the form of Óscar Estupiñán who has scored 11 goals for the Tigers.

Fulham will certainly make changes for this one but will still feel pretty confident coming into this one, with the likes of Dan James, Harry Wilson and Tom Cairney most likely to start.

With Fulham set to play a weakened side and Hull being on a good run we fancy both teams to score in this one.

Fleetwood vs QPR

Since the departure of Michael Beale to Rangers and the appointment of Neil Critchley, QPR have struggled and now have fallen out of the top six in the Championship.

They certainly have the personnel to cause League One’s Fleetwood problems with the likes of Chair, Willock and Roberts in attacking areas. Critchley could see this as an opportunity for his men to reignite their season again and will be expected to field a fairly strong lineup.

Former Celtic player Scott Brown manages Fleetwood, who currently sit 13th in League One. Brown’s men have scored in their last six games against the likes of Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley who are all in the hunt for promotion and will certainly be up for the challenge at the Highbury Stadium.

With Fleetwood at home and in good goalscoring form, combined with the need for Critchley to chase a morale boosting win, we fancy both teams to score in this one.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Newcastle

Sheffield Wednesday currently sit second in League One and haven't seen a league defeat since the start of October.

Darren Moore's men are on a roll having won their last three games including a 5-0 demolition of Cambridge United last time out. The Owls know that they face a tough task in the form of Newcastle but will feel confident that they can cause a much-changed Newcastle side some problems.

Under previous Newcastle management, cup competitions have always felt like a chore, and whilst Eddie Howe will ring the changes in he will still field a competitive enough side to get the job done. Howe will not want to lose focus of the bigger picture with Newcastle currently sitting third in the Premier League.
