George Gamble has picked out an 28/1 Bet Builder for the West London derby between Fulham and Chelsea in the Premier League.
20:00 Thursday
The hosts are playing extremely well right now and will be excited to test how far they’ve come when they welcome a stuttering Chelsea. The visitors are in a rut and if they think they’ll get some respite with an easier match here, it could be their downfall as Fulham look to increase the pressure on Graham Potter.
Fulham vs Chelsea Bet Builder Stats
- Four of Chelsea’s last five opponents on the road have registered at least 10 shots.
- Fulham have taken at least three corners in eight of their nine home games.
- Both teams have received at least one card in all of the previous six meetings at Craven Cottage.
Fulham vs Chelsea Bet Builder Tips
The following Bet Builder can be backed at 28/1 on SkyBet.
Bet Builder Tip: Fulham win, BTTS, 4+ corners each team & 20+ booking points each team
For the first part of the bet builder, we need Fulham to cause an upset by claiming all three points here, but given the situation visitors Chelsea currently find themselves in and the form that Fulham are currently in, this looks a fairly even match.
Across all of the hosts' league outings this season they have averaged 12 shots per match and that rises to 13 when you only take into account their matches at Craven Cottage and they will get chances here.
Both teams to score has landed with some frequency at this venue with seven of the nine league matches taking place here witnessing both sides hit the back of the net. Chelsea have looked abysmal in a defensive capacity and Fulham have scored in all but one of their home matches. However, Chelsea surely cannot go another game without hitting the target which means both teams netting looks possible.
Chelsea have looked far too soft at the back and with a roaring crowd behind them, Fulham will have periods to put Potter’s men under pressure. That also leads me to think the hosts can rack up the corners in this clash. Across their nine home matches, they’ve hit at least four in seven of them with Chelsea conceding at least four in eight of their nine away league games, this part could fly in.
We’d also need the visitors to hit four of their own and with a huge improvement needed, they’ll need to pile the pressure on and given five of the last six visitors to this ground have hit at least four, away corners look likely.

Finally, we need both teams to pick up 20 booking points or more, which you would think should be very likely considering these two London based outfits will be desperate for three points, albeit for very different reasons, thus leading to an intense game full of challenges. Each side has had at least one player go into the book in all of the last six meetings at Craven Cottage and I'd be very surprised to not see that trend continue at least.
The referee for this encounter is David Coote and he has brandished a card for each side in all of the last five matches he has officiated. He won’t let too much go and as the intensity rises as the match goes on, he could brandish a plethora of cards.
This is of course a long shot, but I like all of the individual legs and at 28/1, I'll be having a play.
