The oddschecker team have picked out a 7/1 Tuesday treble covering the action from UEFA Euro Qualifiers.
19:45 Tuesday
Scotland vs Spain – Over 2.5 goals
Scotland and Spain both got their campaigns off to 3-0 wins against Cyprus and Norway respectively, and both lock heads at Hampden Park in their second qualification game.
Scott McTominay’s brace and a goal from John McGinn set Scotland on their way to an expected win againsy lowly Cyprus, and will bring confidence from that game into this one.
As for Spain, similarly, two goals from Joselu and one from Dani Olmo against Norway gave them a first win of the Euro 2024 campaign. They are expected to top the group and will set their credentials out here against the Scottish.
Hampden will be rocking for this one, and we expect it to be entertaining. Whilst we think Spain are the favourites, anything can happen with a raucous crowd, so we think Over 2.5 goals is the play in this one.
19:45 Tuesday
Wales vs Latvia – Wales to win + Over 2.5 goals
Life after Gareth Bale started off with a late point salvaged in Croatia, after their 90th minute equaliser. They now host Latvia in a much easier encounter, but they must not get complacent.
Wales have not won a competitive game since their World Cup play-off final win over Ukraine back in June 2022, and this poses an excellent chance to get a win here.
Latvia have only qualified for the European Championships once in their history, reaching the group stage of Euro 2004. Their current FIFA ranking of 133rd suggests they are they for the taking, and Wales will want to rack up goals in the process, to aid their chances of progression.
We think Wales will take the momentum gained in Croatia and win here, and we think there will be over 2.5 goals in the game.
19:45 Tuesday
Turkey vs Croatia – Over 2.5 goals
Croatia and Turkey face off in the second match from their qualification rounds. Turkey picked up a win against Armenia while Croatia were held by Wales.
The most recent game between the two sides ended 3-3 in a friendly match, and if that’s any indication of how the game will go, we could be in for an entertaining match.
With that in mind, we think it’ll be a close game which either side can win, so we think over 2.5 goals is the play here.
