Charlton, meanwhile, will head into Friday's encounter in a positive mood after they thrashed Shrewsbury Town 6-0 on Saturday to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

Dean Holder’s men have collected four points from their last two home matches, the Addicks will now head on their travels as they attempt to claim a third consecutive away victory.

Charlton have lost just one of their last 11 competitive games against Bristol Rovers, losing 2-1 in the most recent meeting between the two sides in December.

With Charlton holding a good record against Bristol Rovers and in good form we fancy the Addicks to carry their form on and beat Bristol Rovers at the weekend.

Burton vs Barnsley – Barnsley

Barnsley will continue their promotion push when they travel to the Pirelli Stadium to face Burton Albion in Friday's League One contest.

The Tykes have won five of their last six matches, while the Brewers have picked up four points from their last two fixtures.

Barnsley will still have automatic promotion in site and will see Burton as just another obstacle to come through.

Burton have been good at home having picked up 10 points from their last four home games but face a strong outfit in Barnsley.

Barnsley claimed a 2-0 victory when they faced Burton at Oakwell in December, and although they do not have home advantage on this occasion, we think that they have enough quality in their squad to complete a league double over the Brewers.
