AFC Wimbledon vs Ramsgate – AFC Wimbledon Win & BTTS No

AFC Wimbledon and Ramsgate square off on Monday evening with both teams looking to earn an appearance in the FA Cup third round.

At a time when the home side sit in 10th position in the League Two standings, Ramsgate are top of the Isthmian South East Division table, the eighth tier of English football.

Having only narrowly avoid relegation to the National League in 2022-23, AFC Wimbledon may have had their concerns regarding this campaign, yet they have enjoyed a much more stress-free season under Johnnie Jackson.

Three defeats have been posted in five games, their wins during that period coming against Doncaster Rovers and Notts County to make it just three wins in nine at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

No-one associated with Ramsgate could have foreseen their run from the preliminary rounds to just one win away from potentially facing Premier League opposition.

While Ramsgate have had a memorable run to this stage of the competition and will be motivated to cause a surprise in front of the television cameras, we can only predict a one-sided fixture on Monday, convinced by the home side losing just five of their 19 games in League Two this campaign.

Celta Vigo vs Cadiz – Under 2.5 Goals

Two teams that have struggled during the opening months of the 2023-24 La Liga campaign will lock horns on Monday evening, with Celta Vigo welcoming Cadiz to the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos.

The home side are currently 18th in the table, boasting just eight points from their opening 14 matches, while Cadiz are 16th, collecting 11 points from their first 14 games of the season.

Celta have shown slight improvement in recent weeks, sharing the points with Sevilla and Valencia in two of their last three games, while they lost 4-3 to Athletic Bilbao before the international break, but their form is a concern at this stage of the campaign.

Cadiz's two league wins this season - against Alaves and Villarreal - came in the early weeks of the campaign, with the team without a victory in their last 10 matches in Spain's top flight, with that run including a 3-0 defeat at home to Real Madrid last weekend.

Both of these sides have struggled for wins this season, so we are finding it difficult to back either to triumph with any real confidence. Two of their last five meetings in La Liga have finished level, and we are expecting the points to be shared in a low scoring affair in Monday's clash at Estadio Municipal de Balaidos.

Torino vs Atalanta – Atalanta Win

Torino seek to close the gap between themselves and Atalanta BC in the Serie A table when they face off in round 14's encounter at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Monday.

Ivan Juric's men lost their three-game undefeated streak at Bologna in the previous round, while the Bergamaschi's winless league run continued after losing to Napoli.

Just as Torino felt a corner was turned, Bologna sent them crashing to earth in gameweek 13 with a 2-0 defeat in Emilia-Romagna.

The Turin outfit's results in front of their supporters have been mixed, with three drawn games diminishing the fact that only one defeat has been handed to them at home — a 3-0 loss to league-leading Inter Milan (before gameweek 14's commencement).

Avoiding a fourth game without victory is the aim in round 14, especially for a side keen to secure continental qualification through a high league finish and one not fancying the prospect of fourth-placed Napoli stretching their four-point lead over La Dea.

Despite having the fifth-best road record in Serie A, the inconsistency from game to game and even within games threatens to undermine Atalanta's prospects this term, with two losses and as many wins secured in the last five away fixtures (one draw).

Atalanta should eke out a victory to end their three-game winless run and extend the Bergamaschi's undefeated sequence over Torino to eight games.
