Colombia vs Romania – Columbia to Win

Colombia and Romania, both on impressive unbeaten runs, are set to face off in a friendly match in Madrid. Colombia, boasting a 20-match unbeaten streak, recently celebrated a 1-0 victory over Spain, while Romania, having qualified for Euro 2024 without a single defeat, is looking to build momentum.

Despite their recent outstanding record, Romania has only faced one side ranked higher than 74th in the FIFA international team rankings in their last six opponents and 12 games. 

In those games, they drew with Northern Ireland (74th), Belarus (95th), and Israel (164th). Their form isn't as outstanding as the results alone indicate.

Meanwhile, Colombia is establishing themselves as serious contenders for the upcoming Copa America with a five-game winning streak that features wins against 8th ranked Spain and 5th ranked Brazil (who recently beat 3rd ranked England). 

Columbia have conceded just four goals in these five fixtures.

I will back Colombia to continue their winning ways. Romania should improve from their disappointing draw with Northern Ireland recently, but they won’t be used to playing a side of Colombia’s quality. Colombia should relish the chance to take on a side that is far below the quality they have been defeating recently.

England vs Belgium – England to Take the Most Corners

England and Belgium, two European football powerhouses, are set to clash at Wembley in a friendly match. Both teams are seeking to bounce back from their opening fixtures of the year, where England suffered a 1-0 defeat to Brazil and Belgium was held to a goalless draw by the Republic of Ireland. This match offers both teams an opportunity to regain their form and confidence as they prepare for their upcoming major tournaments.

England have made Wembley Stadium a difficult place to visit in recent years, despite losing to Brazil lately. Prior to that loss, they had not lost in 20 games. 

England likes to keep teams confined in their own halves at Wembley, as they did against Brazil, where only 19% of the action took place in England's half and 44% in Brazil's. They restricted Brazil to only two corners, earning seven in the process.

The Red Devils' defence has recently been their strongest point, with four clean sheets in their previous five games. If they play to their strengths and set up defensively, we should see the majority of the action in the away team's half, resulting in the same corner pattern we witnessed against Brazil.

England have less corners than their opponent in just one of their last 10 games.

Germany vs Netherlands – Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals

Germany and the Netherlands, two of Europe’s football heavyweights, are set to meet in an international friendly at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. Germany, the hosts of Euro 2024, are coming off a successful match against France, while the Netherlands are looking to build on their victory over Scotland. This match is an important opportunity for both teams to test their mettle and prepare for the upcoming major tournament.

This match has all the makings of a goal-fest with two sides who are full of goals at the moment.
Germany has scored two or more goals in five of its last six games, including two against World Cup finalists France three days ago. Nagelsmann's new-look Germany side looked intriguing, and I expect the German manager to field a similar side as he attempts to establish cohesion, which the team previously lacked, before the European Championships.

Netherlands have scored 10 goals in their previous two fixtures and are up against a Germany side that only recently got their first clean sheet in 11 games.

It should be noted that there have been over 4.5 goals in two of the last three meetings between these sides.

I think both sides will score in this fixture and there will be over 2.5 goals.
