Dortmund vs Atletico Madrid – A Goal to be Scored in Both Halves
Dortmund chases a 2-1 aggregate deficit as they welcome Atletico Madrid to Signal Iduna Park for tonight’s Champions League second leg tie.
Atletico Madrid are no strangers to a fast start, there has been a goal in the first half in their last 11 games in the league and eight of their last nine Champions League games.
They scored in the fourth minute against Dortmund in the last game and looked to come out and dominate the German side quickly.
Dortmund have scored in the first half in seven of their last eight home league games and will look to close the deficit quickly in this game as they are 2-1 on aggregate.
I expect a fast start and both sides average one goal in the second half this season.

Southampton vs Preston – Southampton to Win
Southampton aren’t out of the picture for automatic promotion as they sit seven points off with five games to play and have games in hand on the sides above them. They face a Preston side who recently suffered a massive blow to their play off chances with a 1-0 defeat to play-off rivals Norwich.
Preston will be deflated after their last defeat and have won just one of their last four games and have failed to score in three of these games.
Though the main thing going for them at the moment is their defence, they face the leagues second best attack today who have 81 goals and have 12 in their last six games.
Southampton will have wind in their sails after two well fought wins against good sides (Coventry and Watford) in their last two games and they’ll know the importance of a win here today so should be fired up to perform in front of their home crowd today to give themselves a shot at automatic promotion.
They’re the better side and have found winning ways again recently, Preston’s playoff hopes are almost over and this should put the nail in the coffin for them.

Barcelona vs PSG – Draw & Both Teams to Score
Barcelona host PSG in the second leg of the Champions League quarter finals. The first leg ended 3-2 to Barcelona thanks to a goal from substitute Christensen and they now take a one goal lead alongside the advantage of their home crowd into the second leg.
PSG have caught Barcelona at a bad time as they are in incredible form recently, they haven’t lost since Xavi announced he would depart from the club at the end of the season (10 wins and 3 draws).
PSG’s loss to Barcelona was their first loss in 27 games but they massively underperformed in this game and their key players were far off their usual form.
They completed just 39% of dribbles which is their lowest in a Champions League knockout stage game since 2017 and between Mbappe and Dembele they completed just two of 14 attempted dribbles.
Key player Mbappe received a 6.5 rating from WhoScored.com based on his stats in this game which is way below his average of 7.79.
The French superstar has 13 goals in his last 11 away games in the Champions League knockout stages. I expect he will be far more effective this game and will cause Barcelona problems.
Despite their poor performance PSG still scored two and I expect them to score at least once in this game.
It isn’t in Barcelona’s nature to sit back and defend and they will come out to finish this tie off. They haven’t failed to score at home all season and should net at least once here.
In terms of the result, both sides are in great form, the last game saw an intense battle where they went blow for blow all game and I expect to see the same here as both sides will likely cancel each other’s attacking efforts out. If the game reaches the latter stages in a stalemate Barcelona might just play for the draw and try to see out the game.
