16:30 Sunday

This week’s Acca Scout Bet Builder focuses on one of the most iconic fixtures of the Premier League era. Old Trafford is the venue for Manchester United vs Arsenal, the only game in the English top flight this Sunday and kicks off at 4:30pm.

Arsenal are incredibly short favourites to win this and at a best price of 2/5 are similar odds to when they visited relegation candidates Nottingham Forest and Burnley earlier.

Much has also been made this season of Manchester United conceding a high volume of shots with WhoScored.com stats showing only relegated Sheffield United have averaged more attempts at goal against them than the Red Devils’ 17.7 per game.

At the other end of the pitch only Liverpool (20.6) and Manchester City (18.3) average more shots at goal per game than the Gunners 17.2.

With those factors considered it makes perfect sense to pick out two of the visitors most likely attacking threats to form this week’s Bet Builder.

Man United vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips

  • Bukayo Saka Over 1.5 Shots on Target
  • Kai Havertz Over 1.5 Shots on Target

Bukayo Saka Over 1.5 Shots on Target

The first leg is for Bukayo Saka to have over 1.5 shots on target.

Saka has had the most shots of any Arsenal player in the league this season with 106 and only Erling Haaland (112) has had more attempts at goal across the entire division.

The England international has had 10 shots in his last two appearances with two on target in his last away game at Spurs and three last weekend against Bournemouth. He got on the scoresheet in both fixtures to take his tally to a career high 16 league goals for the season.

Saka has had a total of 36 shots on target across the campaign, again the most of any Arsenal player with at least two in 11 of his 34 appearances.

He was on the scoresheet in this fixture last season, and we also have the added bonus of him being on penalties. With only Chelsea (12) receiving more than Arsenal’s 10 spot kicks so far this term.

Kai Havertz Over 1.5 Shots on Target

The second selection is for Kai Havertz to have over 1.5 shots on target.

Havertz is in the best form of his season having started the campaign in midfield he has flourished since nailing down a place as Arsenal’s striker.

Since being moved further forward for the first time in the home game against Liverpool in February the German international has had at least one shot on target in all of his last 14 league appearances.

The 24-year-old has totalled 23 shots on target across those games with at least two in seven of them including in four of his last five appearances. A total of 27 shots on target across the campaign is second only to Saka in the Arsenal ranks.
