England to Win

England have posted W11-D6-L3 in major tournament matches under Gareth Southgate but if we drill-down into group-stage records, the Three Lions have managed an impressive W6-D2-L1 during that same since the start of the 2018 World Cup. Belgium, Scotland and USA are the three sides to avoid defeat in that nine-match sample.

Denmark were dismal at the World Cup in Qatar, scoring only once as they exited early, and the Scandinavians have only secured two group-stage victories from their last three major tournament group-stages (W2-D3-L4) with those two triumphs arriving against Russia and Peru. Australia, France, Belgium and Finland all beat the Red-White.

England may have failed to completely convince against Serbia in their curtain-raising clash, yet the Three Lions still boast more than enough quality to secure back-to-back wins when they meet Kasper Hjulmand’s outfit in Frankfurt.

Under 4.5 Goals

Seven of England’s past nine victories have seen fewer than four goals scored, whilst the Three Lions have now scored more than twice in just five of their most recent 16 showdowns now. That includes routs against Malta and North Macedonia, as well as 3-1 triumphs over Scotland and Italy, plus a 3-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Taking the Under 4.5 Goals option alongside an England success gives the 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 2-1 and 3-1 correct scores on our side.

Under 8.5 Corners

Only three of England’s last 15 competitive matches have produced nine corners or more.

Sunday night’s opener against Serbia delivered just three flag-kicks and at the Qatar World Cup the Three Lions saw all bar one of their five corner totals fall below the proposed line (France 7, Senegal 6, Wales 7, USA 10, Iran 8).

The Euro 2020 semi-final showdown clash between England and Denmark at Wembley saw a six-corner haul.

Under 4.5 Cards

I’m also happy to oppose a high card total in Frankfurt. Under 4.5 Cards has collected in 18 of England’s past 20 competitive matches with Denmark also delivering the same 18/20 (90%) success-rate across their previous 20 meaningful matches. When the duo met at the semi-final stage of Euro 2020, only two bookings were handed out.
