12:30 Saturday

West Ham vs Chelsea

Chelsea were fortunate to pinch the points at Bournemouth last weekend and the Blues look worth opposing on Saturday with Enzo Marasca’s men a shorter price to win at West Ham than they were at the Vitality Stadium. The Hammers are still finding their feet under Julen Lopetegui but will aim to be awkward and obdurate opposition.

Correct Score: 1-1

15:00 Saturday

Aston Villa vs Wolves

Aston Villa rode out an early storm in Switzerland to pocket their maiden Champions League success in midweek and Unai Emery’s troops will hope to make it three wins on the spin when regional rivals Wolves arrive at Villa Park. The visitors (W0-D1-L3) have conceded multiple goals in three of their first four fixtures and may again fall short.

Correct Score: 3-1

15:00 Saturday

Fulham vs Newcastle

Newcastle have been one of the Premier League’s biggest overachievers across the opening four matchdays, collecting 10 points despite an Expected Points (xP) output of 4.85. The Magpies should make their mark at Craven Cottage, though Fulham are a difficult side to oust in front of their home supporters, making the draw a big runner.

Correct Score: 1-1

15:00 Saturday

Leicester vs Everton

Lightning struck twice for Everton as they coughed up a second successive 2-0 lead in the Premier League, however, the Toffees have shown plenty of positives in matches against Aston Villa and Bournemouth to suggest they can finally get over the line at Leicester. Sean Dyche’s side went W7-D2-L1 at bottom-five teams last term.

Correct Score: 1-2

15:00 Saturday

Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Liverpool suffered a shock home loss here against Nottingham Forest before bouncing back in-style at Milan in midweek. The Reds will be eager to get back to winning ways at Anfield, although Bournemouth are unlikely to make things easy – Cherries boss Andoni Iraola has pedigree for overperforming when up against big clubs through his career.

Correct Score: 2-1

15:00 Saturday

Southampton vs Ipswich

Newly-promoted pair Southampton and Ipswich are still searching for their first victory of the Premier League season and the two teams are bound to be targeting Saturday’s clash. The Tractor Boys did the double over Saints last season and Kieran McKenna’s charges are capable of edging an entertaining encounter from St Mary’s.

Correct Score: 2-3

15:00 Saturday

Tottenham vs Brentford

Tottenham survived an EFL Cup scare in midweek as a much-changed side progressed to the fourth round at Coventry’s expense. Spurs now go in search of only their second EPL triumph of the term and should be well-fancied – Brentford are W1-D1-L9 at top-11 finishers since the start of last season, whilst injuries have blunted the Bees attack.

Correct Score: 2-1

17:30 Saturday

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Crystal Palace required a stoppage-time penalty to earn a share of the spoils at home to Leicester last weekend, and whilst the Eagles haven’t hit last season’s heights, Oliver Glasner’s group can be a thorn in Manchester United’s side on Saturday. The Red Devils are difficult to trust at short prices and were clobbered here as recently as May.

Correct Score: 1-1

14:00 Sunday

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest

Brighton weren’t able to breakdown Ipswich last weekend but the Seagulls remain unbeaten under Fabian Hurzeler and are odds-on favourites to win here. However, Nuno Espirito Santo and Nottingham Forest have an eye-catching recent road record, taking top honours in each of their last four EPL away days and command respect.

Correct Score: 1-1

16:30 Sunday

Manchester City vs Arsenal

Last season’s high-stakes contests between Manchester City and Arsenal featured just 16 and 18 shots respectively, with a total Expected Goals (xG) value across the matches standing at only 2.55 xG (1.04 of which arrived from set-pieces). There were a total of only six shots on-target and a similarly tight and tense clash could be in the offing.

Correct Score: 0-0
