16:30 Sunday

Manchester United host long-standing rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford in a barnstorming game to open their Premier League campaign.

The Red Devils will be looking to improve on last seasons 15th place finish and Europa League final defeat, whereas Arsenal will look to avoid being the bridesmaids for the fourth season running as they aim to win their first Premier League title since 2004.

What better way to celebrate than a 9/1 bet builder.

Last season’s clash saw 26 shots in total, with eight on target - six of those coming from Arsenal. Stats which make Sky Bet's new customer offer for today's match all the more eye-catching - they are offering a massive 50/1 on Arsenal to have 1+ shots on target!

Man United vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips

Matthew's bet builder for Man United vs Arsenal is Bryan Mbeumo SOT, Jurrien Timber 2+ fouls & Amad Diallo 2+ fouls. At the time of publishing it was a best price of 9/1 with Unibet.

Bryan Mbeumo SOT

After a stellar campaign for Brentford, Manchester United decided to splash £71 million on Bryan Mbeumo.

The 26-year-old boasted 20 goals and seven assists in 38 starts last season - showcasing not only his clinical nature in front of goal but his reliability and durability.

The Cameroonian averaged 1.08 shots on target per 90, averaging 2.80 shots per 90 across his last 20 premier league games - 1.19 of these on target.

15 of these shots hit the target and Mbeumo is expected to continue this form in a new-look expensive Manchester United attack - especially against an Arsenal side who conceded 49.8% shots on target on the road compared to at home last season.

Jurrien Timber 2+ fouls

Jurrien Timber had a tough first season in an Arsenal shirt, with a long-term injury seeing him play just three times.

The second season was better, with 48 appearances. The Dutchmen solidified himself as one of the first names on the team sheet.

The 24-year-old is seen as a more defensive alternative to the attacking Myles Lewis-Skelly on the opposite flank and averages

1.15 fouls per 90. He is likely to be up against Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu, with the pair averaging 2.46 and 2.9 times per 90 in the Premier League respectively.

Amad Diallo 2+ fouls

The talented Ivorian has been shunned to right wing back by Ruben Amorim - a position he seems to be excelling at.

Despite his 14 goal contributions in just 20 starts, he has also shown prowess and a willingness to get stuck in.

Amad is averaging 0.99 fouls per 90. However, he is likely to be tasked with dealing with Lewis-Skelly (3.09 fouls won per 90) and Noni Madueke (1.10 fouls won per 90).

In what should be an intriguing battle down United’s right hand side, Amad should go above his average and make at least two fouls.
