Chelsea host Brentford in a West London derby as the unbeaten Blues look to maintain their strong start against a reshaped Bees side - Harry Paterson provides bet builder tips.
20:00 Saturday
Chelsea make the short trip across West London to face Brentford in what will be their fourth London derby of the season on Saturday.
The Blues have made a strong start to the campaign, sitting second in the Premier League thanks to an unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge that stretches back to the start of 2025, where they’ve won nine and drawn three of 12 matches.
Brentford, meanwhile, have had a mixed start under Keith Andrews following a summer of departures, including key players and their manager Thomas Frank.
The Bees have shown resilience at home, winning three of their last four at the Gtech, but face a challenging run ahead against the league’s top sides.
Chelsea head into this clash on the back of a 2-0 win over Fulham, a result that maintained their home dominance and highlighted the influence of new signings and key performers like Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernández, and João Pedro.
Brentford, boosted by the arrival of Reiss Nelson, will look to exploit their home advantage to trouble the reigning world champions.

Brentford vs Chelsea Bet Builder Tips
- Joao Pedro 3+ Shots
- Michael Kayode 2+ Fouls
- Moises Caicedo 2+ Fouls
At the time of publishing this bet builder tip can be backed at a best price of 14/1 with bet365.
Michael Kayode 2+ Fouls
Michael Kayode looks good value to commit fouls in this fixture.
He has committed one foul in each of his last five appearances for Brentford and will be up against a tricky customer in Pedro Neto who has attempted 3.45 take ons per 90 minutes this season - one of the highest in Chelsea's side.
He will also have Cucurella to deal with down the left who has drawn two fouls in two of his three appearances this season.
I think given the expected barrage of attacks Chelsea will have, two fouls is certainly possible.
Moises Caicedo 2+ Fouls
For their lack of possession, Brentford have been quite effective at drawing fouls too. They have drawn 11,13 and 9 fouls in their first three games.
A lot of these fouls will have been drawn as they break out of a low block in their own half and look to catch over committed teams on the break.

Tasked with stopping that today will be Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. Of the pair, Caicedo seems to have found himself doing more of the dirty work this season - he averages 2 fouls per 90 in his last 10 games and has three fouls in his last two games.
Chelsea will be well aware of Brentford's speed on the break with Outtarra and Schade and should be set up to stop it.
Joao Pedro 3+ Shots
Brentford with the third lowest average possession in the Premier League this season, face Chelsea, the side with the most possession.
Chelsea are averaging the second most shots per game (14.7) and Brentford are averaging the 5th most average shots per game conceded this season (13).
I expect Chelsea to dominate the ball and have plenty of shots on Brentfords goal.
Strikers have had plenty of attempts against Brentford too; Watkins had four shots, Isidor had three, Wood had two.
Joao Pedro is Chelsea's most proactive shooter with an average of 3 shots per 90 minutes, he has had three shots in both his last two games.
