Enzo Fernández has quietly become the focal point of Chelsea’s attack over the last few weeks. With injuries forcing a reshuffle, he’s been pushed into a more advanced No.10 role while James and Caicedo hold behind him. That tweak has given him freedom to drive forward, arrive on the edge of the box, and take far more responsibility in the final third.

The output also backs this up. Across Chelsea’s last 20 games in all competitions, Enzo is averaging the most shots in the entire squad at 1.84 per match. In the league specifically, he’s taken over 1.5 shots in six straight games, including doing so against Liverpool, one of the toughest sides to generate volume against. His Champions League performance midweek reinforced the trend too; he started against Barcelona and made four attempts in that match alone. Getting near evens is a nice price for this leg.

I'm sticking with shots here, specifically shots on target. Saka has established himself as one of the most reliable right wingers in Europe, and his end product is second to none. He’s averaging the most shots on target per 90 in the Arsenal squad at 1.49. He’s also cleared the 1.5 line in each of his last five games once you factor in the super sub promotion. It was just in the Bayern match where super sub was needed to save him, where he played only 68 minutes, the extra shot on target from Martinelli helped clear the line and it’s clear Arsenal were managing Saka’s minutes to keep him fresh for today.

With firms offering close to 4x our money for two shots on target, the higher variance line is too strong to ignore. The single shot on target is obviously the safer angle, but given Saka’s current form, the risk to reward ratio favours the risk taker in me today.
