Leg 1: QPR vs Norwich - Both Teams To Score

QPR made it four away games without a win after losing 2-1 to West Brom in a tepid performance. It did however, continue a run of seven games in a row where BTTS has landed – the joint longest streak in the league. Julien Stephen’s side have also seen both teams scoring in 9/11 at home, as well as the last seven on the spin at Loftus Road.

Norwich looked to have turned a corner under Phillipe Clement but a 0-1 defeat to Watford leaves them four points from safety having played an extra game over the teams they are chasing. The Belgian has now won three, drawn three and lost three of his nine games, with BTTS landing in seven of these and 10/12 on the road all season for Norwich.

The reverse just a few weeks ago saw Norwich run out 3-1 winners, with BTTS landing within the first 11 minutes.

Leg 2: Barnet vs Crawley - Barnet Win

After storming to the National League title with a whopping 102 points, Barnet got off to a slow start to the League Two campaign, losing their first three games. The Bees have since found their feet and sit mid table, just six points off a playoff berth. Dean Brennan will be frustrated at his sides lack of clinical edge, sat 10 places and eight points worse off than they should be based on the xG table.

It is all going wrong at Crawley after relegation from League One last season. The Red Devils are now eight games without a league win, with fans actively voicing their discontent at the players after the 1-3 loss at home to Bromley. Scott Lindsey’s side have lost the last three on the road and taken just five points from 11, so will be dreading facing a Barnet side out for blood.

Leg 3: Bromley vs Newport - Bromley Win

Bromley, along with Sunderland and Arsenal, are the only sides still unbeaten at home in the Premier League and EFL and they will be looking to extend this record against Newport County. The Ravens sit two points top of the table after five straight wins, taking 25 points from 11 games at Hayes Lane.

Since finishing in the playoffs in 2021, Newport County have regressed every campaign, culminating in a 22nd place finish last season. This year, The Exiles are in danger of another season of regression as they sit 23rd in the league. The County hierarchy took a risk in appointing the inexperienced Christian Fuchs as manager, with the Austrian winning just one of his eight games in charge. Against a Bromley side who put five past them last boxing day, Newport are in danger of sliding back down to bottom of the table.

Leg 4: Colchester vs MK Dons - Both Teams To Score

Under the guise of Danny and Nicky Cowley, Colchester are aiming for a return to League One after a ten year exodus. The U’s finished in the top half (10th) for the first time for four seasons last year and they are looking to build on that this time, currently sat five points off the playoffs. In Kyreece Lisbie, Samson Tovide, Jack Payne and Harry Anderson, they have one of the more exciting attacks in the league, scoring 37 goals. BTTS has landed 7/11 at home and 15/23 total in League Two.

Pre-Season favourites MK Dons are living up to the billing in recent weeks having lost just once in their last nine league games. Paul Warne’s side boast the best attacking record in the league, scoring 44 in 23 including in the last 17. Both Teams To Score has landed in 8/11 away games, as well as when the sides met in the FA Cup.

Leg 5: Fleetwood vs Grimsby - Both Teams To Score

Fleetwood are the only team in the division with a perfect home record for BTTS landing, with all 11 games at Highbury seeing both teams on the scoresheet. Pete Wild’s side have scored 21 and conceded 16 in these games, for an average of 3.36 goals per home game.

Grimsby top League Two on expected points, accumulating ten less points than the xP table suggests. David Artell’s side are unpredictable and will be disappointed to only be 15th in the league. The Mariners away games are entertaining, averaging 3.27 goals and BTTS landing in 7/11.
