We have a delightful 6/1 treble to round-off your weekend!
Israel v Austria - 17:00
Though they’re a side who often flatter to deceive, I’m still expecting Austria to beat Israel with relative ease.
Austria were disappointing in their 1-0 home defeat to Poland on Thursday, but Israel could only muster a home draw against a terrible Slovenia side who finished bottom of their Nations League group containing Norway, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
I don’t think Austria are particularly good, but they’re still great value to overcome a much weaker Israel outfit this Sunday.
Netherlands v Germany - 19:45
While Netherlands are on the up, Germany are very much on the way down.
Things haven’t got much better for Joachim Löw after his side’s humiliating World Cup group stage exit: relegation from their Nations League group – losing 3-0 to the Dutch along the way, who promptly won the group – and the imposed international exile of Mats Hummels, Jerome Boateng and Thomas Muller has left them a mess.
Ronald Koeman’s men battered Belarus in their opening qualifying match on Thursday, and I believe they’re more than capable of heaping yet more pain on the hapless, ill-fated Germans once again.
Poland v Latvia - 19:45
A nice easy one to end with: Poland to beat Latvia with a -1 handicap.
Generally, Poland are outstanding in their qualification campaigns – particularly when it comes to scoring goals – but when it gets to the tournament finals, they’re pants.
But that would do us nicely right here.
Latvia succumbed 3-1 to a pretty modest Macedonia side on Thursday, and with Robert Lewandowski and Krzysztof Piątek bearing down on them, I can only envisage a bigger scoreline this time around.
